Ms. Della Clark – President, The Enterprise Center

Della Clark is President of The Enterprise Center; an entrepreneurial center that provides access to capital, capacity building, business education and economic development opportunities to high potential minority entrepreneurs. During her 16-year tenure, she has cultivated relationships with key corporate and industry leaders from the wider business world, representatives from educational institutions, and high-ranking government officials at the city, state and federal levels.

Ms. Della Clark has received numerous awards for her work in the community. In 2007, she was recognized as one of the 100 most influential African-Americans in Philadelphia by The Philadelphia Tribune. She received the “Entrepreneur Role Model Award” from The National Association of Minority Contractors in 2006, and was awarded the “Local Hero Award” by Bank of America’s Neighborhood Excellence Initiative in 2005. For her continuous support of the U.S. Small Business Administration, the federal agency presented her with an award in 2004. Ms. Clark has also received the “Community Service All-Star Award,” presented by The Philadelphia 76ers and The Philadelphia Tribune, and was named an Honorary Citizen by the City Council of Austin, Texas in 2002. Today, Della Clark demonstrates her active involvement in the community by serving as a board member with the following organizations: Saint Christopher Foundation, United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania, the University City District, and Philadelphia Forward.
