SPIN aims to become the most sought after channel for entrepreneurs, investors and academia in both Greater Philadelphia and Singapore, creating key business opportunities in both regions. It envisions itself as a platform for building long lasting relationship within NCBVians and creating an environment for individuals to learn and grow with the organization.
Mission Statement:
SPIN provides NCBVians the opportunity to:
- Develop and nurture potential leaders and own areas of interest
- Solidify sense of camaraderie across batches of NCBVians
- Build a global network through interactions with entrepreneurs or entrepreneurial organisations across Philadelphia and Singapore
- Enrich their learning experience with self-initiated conferences and E-speaker series talks
- Apply their knowledge gained from academics in UPenn and 1 year internship in Philly start-ups, valuing add it to Singapore SMEs (Small Medium Enterprises) through consulting work
- Foster and link up prospective business partners from both Philadelphia and Singapore through consulting work
