Singapore Philadelphia Innovation Network (SPiN for short), is an organization run by aspiring entrepreneurs from the National University of Singapore (NUS); each year, selected students from Singapore embark on a one-year NUS Overseas College (NOC) programme in the “Bio Valley,” working in high-tech startups in and around Philadelphia while also taking entrepreneurship classes at the University of Pennsylvania.

SPiN is an avenue for interaction between leaders from the entrepreneurially charged cultures of Philadelphia and Singapore. By facilitating information exchange, SPiN serves as a platform for NOC students to augment their entrepreneurial acumen as well as a medium for them to give back to the community.

SPiN formally facilitates interaction through a combination of bi-annual conferences and a number of smaller scale seminars. SPiN also maintains a presence, through its representatives, at networking sessions and start-up related events held in Philadelphia.
